Went out to Lake Washington last Sunday to do some bass fishing the weather was great and the bass seem to be moving to shallow water to spawn. I dont think the waters warm enough yet. I've been following schools of smallmouth from early March in around 30' in depth now this past Sunday I located them on the south side of any kind of structure around 18' of water but suppended about 5' off the rocky stumpy bottom. Im sure the sun is warming the top half of the water and they are suppending on these nice days. Thats why I used a bass colored RS Shad rap with a stop and go retrive. After catching a few smallies I went over to the west high rise of the floating bridge and fliped a dark creature bait texas style and landed 2 Largemouth within 5 min. of each other. A 1.5lb. and a 3lb. ...Good luck with the spawn...
