Another beautiful day in the PNW. Bright and Sunny, water temp @ 71F. Rumor had it that large bows could be taken sub-surface in shallower water, but not on this day. Reverted to the sinking line and deep trolling which paid off. Only five fish netted, but those included 1-19" and 1-21" and all good fighters. Nice C&R experience for this time of year. As the weather cools off, these hungry trout should be stocking up on winter food, so action should get hot and heavy just prior to closure.
