Took "Smooth's" advice and set out from the launch in my pontoon boat fishing wooly buggers of every color off the bottom with poor results two 8" to be exact in four hours. Then I switched to a flouting line and caught two that were around 14" the rest of the day. I don't know what some fisherman see in this lake but every time I read it's report I convince myself to go and every time I am disappointed. It isn't just me, I look around and see that sure everyone catches a couple small ones but I never see anyone catching numerous large trout. Maybe this lake is very spotty but I have fished it at least twenty times in the last two years and have never seen anyone do very well.
