General Comments
I fished from 9-12 on Sunday. I trolled or stripped in deep and slow
The Statistics
I caught a 12-13" brookie and a 13" rainbow with a couple LDRs. I had a floating line, and usually do well on dries. It was real sunny, and a guy with a fish-finder told me all the fish were below 15 feet. I wasn't doing well because even with some split shot I couldn't get the line down very far. definitely take sinking line or sink tip if its sunny.
Hatches
not many insects at all, more of a powerbait hatch. just an occasional jump to tempt the eagle and ospreys
Fly Patterns
use Deep weighted w/buggers black, brown, or green at least 10-15 feet down. If cloudy, rainy, try stripping/trolling callibaetis near the surface
Water/Weather Conditions
bright and sunny just a slight breeze too bright, take sunglasses
