My fishing partner and I arrived at the lake a little after 11AM, there were only a few others fishing. The lake was calm with a light breeze and plenty of sun. The damsel flies were out in force. Dry Damsels and nymphs crawling out on our pontoon boats were everywhere.

I caught three nice fish and lost one, all rainbows to about 20". My fishing partner caught two nice fish.

I used a damsel nymph on a clear fly line which I believe is called a "Slime Line". Most of the fish were deep or just at the top of the weeds. I picked up one good fish in about a foot or so of water under the shade of a tree. He gave me a very memorable strike and a good fight which produced a "Kodak Moment".

We fished until 6PM when the wind came up and we decided to leave. I saw little surface activity and fished below the surface most of the day. My friend started on top near the islands and had fish working around him but was unable to hook up until he went down with a damsel nymph.
