Launched from the state park about noon. This was our first trip to this lake so my fishing' pard and I surveyed the lake for about an hour. I can tell you one thing, fish were everywhere. All over the sonar as well as jumping everywhere. The frustrating part was that nothing was hitting. After throwing everything in the arsenal at them I found a combination that works. It starts with going to the mouth of the cowlitz where it meets the main lake body. We trolled green beaded micro-pop gear, snubber, green kokanee killer, tipped with white corn. Our speed was about 2.8 mph keeping the gear near the surface. The results were both of us limiting on kokanee in the 12-14 inch range with one about 16in, and all this action took place in an hour and a half. Between 4:00 and 5:30
