Well I made another trip out to spectacle again, we go twice a year at the fourth, and in mid to late April depending on break. As always the fishing was awesome. As always all of the old boys used pop gear or leaded line, and get there ten inchers, but I always use the same lure. I use a needlefish, fire-tiger design size one. Depending on the time of the year I vary the amount of weight, just a slip sinker. I absolutely killed the fish I was with my dad and a friend and together we got around two-hundred trout. All in the 11 to 14 inch range all the fish were pretty chunky and fought really hard. We stayed at Rainbow Resort, and didn't really. We didn't to have to go far to catch the fish. We tried all over the lake in search for some of the big ones I caught last year. The closest we got was about 15 inches, at the far west side of the lake trolling along the rock bluff across from spectacle falls resort. there were people catching fish off the shore on powerbait pretty successfully.
