I fished this lake for the first time today. after driving around for about 45 minutes into private driveways, I finally found the public access. I hooked up my line and threw on some green power bait and cast out. no sooner than I started to gear up my daughters pole, I got a hit. I set the hook and started to reel. I thought it was a small one due to the fact it was swimming right at me. Then out of nowhere, it took off. I knew I had a big one. After about 10 min., I landed it. the fish was about a 6 pound trout. I'm sure to fish this lake again.......soon! good luck.
