Fished Nunnally today. Beautiful weather: clear skies up to 70 degrees, very little wind. Arrived at 11am to see fish cruising the shoreline at the end of the trail. Spent an hour sight casting to these fish before getting in the tube. Was a size 14 Callibaetis hatch going on so I used a Callibaetis weighted nymph on floating line and got one about 17 inches that fought very well. Other tubers were catching fish sporadically on various chironomids. I heard gray being mentioned a few times. Probably due to the gray Callibaetis. Most anglers using floating line and sinking nymph and still/slow fishing in the shallows. I then went out in the tube and trolled around for a couple hours with various Wooley Buggers and got one 10 inch Brown. Lots of shucks of on the water, maybe the fish were sated. One more 10 inch Brown casting from shore at 4pm on that same Cb nymph that scored earlier. Nobody really scoring on the lake today.
