Arrived at the lake around 7am. Foggy and misty, a perfect day to fish. Trolled the north side of the lake using a white and green sling blade with a green Koke-nut and a red and white sling blade with a red koke-nut. Tipped them both with a piece of worm and trolled between 1.5 and 2.0mph. Ran a zig zag pattern about 30 yards from shore. Had bites all the way down the shore line and my son out fished me the whole day. ( My son is 5yrs old) Had a good time. Lots of small kokenee. Caught a couple of 12 inchers and caught a couple of rainbows around 14 inches. Weather was perfect and even better , no jet skiers. Only saw 5 boats and they were gone after 10. Nice spot to get late season trout and relax a little. Especially with all that has gone on around us.. Be a Pop and take your kid fishing!!!
