We were on the lake from 9am to 1pm. The water temperature was 60 degrees. It was sunny with clouds that blocked the mountain from view. The water level was 1192.47 with full pool level at 1207.
I went from 20-39 feet on the downrigger. Longlining, I was using a 1/2oz weight, I think and my son had a 1/4oz. We used maggots, corn, and pieces of nightcrawlers. We went from .09 to 1.7mph. My son caught a kokanee at 1.7mph.
We got 4 trout and 3 kokanee in the boat and lost that many or more at the boat. Lots of bites. The kokanee all had the adipose fin removed.
It was an amazing day. The funny part was my son said he was going to take a nap while we were out on the boat but it was too busy for a nap.
