Hello,fellow fishing folks(hunters and park visitors,too)! Wanted to give everyone the "Heads Up"!! Thanks to our former governor and his "Dine & Dash" spending policy he created,we're now going to be paying more for our licenses( park pass,too). Go buy your license now! From what I am hearing it will be a 38% increase on licenses. I just bought the Fish Washington license package($66.55)with catch record+halibut($5.50) dealer fee ($3.00). This all came to a total of $75.05. With the proposed increase this same license package will go to $111.00. On top of that increase the Discovery Pass price is right now in the process of being raised $15.00. Going from $30.00 to $45,00. These numbers have not been imposed upon us yet,but there is for sure going to be an increase on things. I'm getting this info from the news in which they get their info from the "Innermet"(and we all know the internet has reliable info...Ha,ha). Sorry,no fishing report. Spent my fishing cash on Eggs and a new license!....I give my report a 5 star for myself trying to help everyone save some money. The State is trying to get this passed as quickly as they can because the Trout Opener is coming up at the end of the month. This is where the State sells the most fishing licenses,so don't wait until opening day to get a license....Get It Now! Good Luck!
