I have been fishing this lake about every other day and have not been disappointed yet. In the earlier part of the season it was easy to catch 40 fish in a couple of hours or so, lately its been hard pressed to catch 5 in a couple of hours. Its still worth fishing here until the split season close date of 7/1, reopens 9/1. If you go fishing there use anything red like a trippleteaser nickel with red tip, don't forget to crimp the hook. Its great fun just fishing all day, so try a little of catch and release.
