This was my first time out since Oct 2022. We finally got on the water with lines in about 8:35am. Finishing at 10:30am.

The lake level was at 1195.4 feet which is lower than last year. The water temperature was 58.5 degrees with a slight breeze. Air temperature was supposed to get to mid-80’s and with an 8-day prediction at above 80 degrees, maybe a few to 90.

We were on downriggers 15-40 feet down with 15 to 20 feet the best. Or we were longlining with ¼ oz weight clipped on. The largest fish came on the longlined rod with the line out so far, I had time to get the camera out and take pictures before it got to the boat for me to net. Yes, my son caught the biggest. Our speed was .8 to 1.4 MPH.
We used different Dick Nite Dodgers as an attractor with worm and corn as bait on the lures which got us limits of cutthroat.
