Fished 2 days this week.-Wednesday and today.
Wednesday-from 7 bays down several miles:
-3 walleye, and lost another 3 till the sun killed the bite tried for kokanee the rest of the day ended with 14 trout
Today: downstream from keller
-My friend Doug had on a really nice kokanee but he took drag for 10 seconds , surfaced and spit the hook. We continued and caught several dozen trout of good quality including some big natives, one of which was pushing the 2 foot mark.
Still ended the day kokeless however. Am hoping after a warm up in a few weeks more will show though I am not holding my breath

Nice bows there!

FYI - Received my copy of the Lake Roosevelt Forum newsletter yesterday and an article stated reservoir level will be drawn down to 1255' by mid-March and stay there for at least 6 weeks to faciliate gate valve maintenance at the dam.

“This will require Grand Coulee Dam to be drafted below elevation 1255 feet by mid-March and could last approximately six weeks depending on the damage to the seals.”

Or lower.

Thank you good fellas for the intel. I had heard it was coming way down this year and this confirms. Obliged!

1255' isn't too bad, I've launched at Seven Bays with level at 1229'!
