A three day report for Baker, boat camping in the Glasply (saw a few other Glaspys out there too). Friday I found out that neither downrigger was working, luckily we had just enough signal (in select areas) to have our friend bring up my other downriggers on Saturday. My buddy caught it using a custom pink fly behind a purple haze flasher. I only take credit for the boat driving and netting! Interestingly I saw the small school on the FF, and one streak dropped down 5-10 feet to hit his line, right about the time he said his line hit a stick, I looked back and said it popped your line off (not knowing it was a very small twig that hit) and it was fish on. We got that one about 2:30 on Saturday. Saturday seemed better as we saw a number of fish caught, but very slow Sunday, afternoon checker said he had only recorded two fish.
I tried every small pink hootchie combo I had but nary a bite. At least there was sockeye for dinner though and the scenery never disappoints.
