We launched at 9am and fished until about 2pm. We had 4 of us in the boat and we landed 5 crappie total. We probably had another dozen or so solid bites, but that was it. Saw a number of other boats out targeting crappie, but not a lot being caught. I was using 1/16 and 1/32 oz jigs under bobbers with every color we could throw at them. We were also casting and retrieving the jigs and that was the only thing that was working. Forgot to measure the water temp, but I think its still can't me much above 50 deg. We fished a few different spots, but the most successful, if you could call it that, was right out from the launch a few hundred yards. The report in the Spokesman said 3 of them caught 40 fish in 2 hours. I need to find that guy and take a lesson.
