8/10/2021 7:06:27 PMI'll probably catch Hell for this, but the largemouth were introduced by someone about 4-5 years ago. I've been going to Wannacutt for quite a few years and they are a new edition that shouldn't really be there. While I love fishing for bucketmouths, this isn't the lake for them. Most of the trout are planted as fry in the Spring and their survival is severely diminished by the bass. There isn't another fish food source in the lake for the bass. I imagine the WDFW will probably treat this lake in the future to eradicate the bass.

8/11/2021 8:15:07 AMI had no idea they were introduced recently. It makes sense that WDFW will have to eradicate them because they seemed super super aggressive and I can see them demolishing the trout population.
