My son and I were at the launch waiting in line at 7:30am and left about 10:30. It was sunny out and going to be warm in the upper 70’s. The water temperature was 65 degrees.
My son hooked two fish before I got into the water. He only got one in the boat. We both had doubles but not all got in the boat with handing off the rods to each other. Clear Lake has received another dodger offering. He was in 56 feet of water at 37 feet on the downrigger. An anchor rope is what I think.
We were from surface to 35 feet on the downrigger. The lures were green and orange. Dodgers of different patterns. Tipping with worms and corn. Sometimes I used just corn. We went 1-1.4mph.
Lining up to get out of the lake at the launch was interesting.
