This report is for Yale lake, seems luke the filter options are missing some lakes by county.

Anyways, on to the fishing. Nothing spectacular caught, we tried just about every lure in the tackle box and had fair success with a green and black wedding ring. I was not using any bait as I had forgotten to grab corn on my way out the door.

We stayed from Saturday to Monday at Beaver Bay, which was great as usual. The weather was raining off and on, with some sun breaks and some squalls. It seemed that we picked up more fish when there was a slight chop and no rain, but the bite was so inconsistent that I wouldn't count on the weather as a big factor.

We ended up with about 10 kokanee to the boat, one nice rainbow, and five or six pike minnow. The kokes were all 10-12 inches and wonderfully pink, the rainbow was a white hatchery fish.

All the fish were taken between 25 and 50 feet deep in between 40 and 120 feet of water. The two valleys at the north end of the lake seemed to be the most productive spot although we did get a couple fish directly across from Yale park.

Speaking with other fishermen out there it seemed slow to all although I heard of one guide boat limiting out. The fish were hitting the lures very softly so we may well have just been missing more bites, I know we had one fish on for quite a while before I checked the line and pulled him in.

Anyways, great trip overall and the boat worked wonderfully, this was our first trip with the new trolling motor and it was working very well. Steady speeds of 1.2 to 1.4 mph seemed to be best.
