My son and I started fishing at 8am. The water temperature was 54 degrees. It was going to be a hot day at close to 80. We finished around noon. It was slow for us compared to last week.
I went from 2-47 feet on the downrigger.
We used various lures and dodgers but green was best. Using for bait worm, corn, and green maggot my son did better with a half-ounce longlined. We ended with 4. He lost a lot of fish. I didn’t because hardly any bit.

Love your video. It is always amazing how the fish come up to the lure and nip at it without getting hooked.

Thank you. I have seen fish follow for several minutes before hitting the lure...or not.

Great video. Were the perch over by the VA?

No, it wasn't Goonch. It was by Picnic Point west of the point. Underwater island was the hump and then they were in the deeper part
