Fished below Keller; lines in the water around 8 am. Had a good early bite for a few hours then it went dead for an hour when the sun became more direct and the water got glassy. A little bit of a breeze came on and fishing picked up and stayed good all day. Trolled light and high and best color was a fleshy orange. Caught a 22"+ koke for the first fish of the day and no more kokanees thereafter, but several dozens of rainbows to follow. Got multiple limits between me and my fishing partner; we boated a lot of fish making for a great day.
Hoping for some rain as we sure need it but can't complain about the nice sunny calm days on the water.

Sounds like a banner day on Roosevelt particularly the koke; few ever seen that big.! What depth and speed and tackle configuration....if you don't mind sharing?

Thanks Jedimbs! We have to get on the water before they pull the plug and the water level drops; launching can be a challenge at Ft Spokane
. Hopefully there aren't as many floating trees and debris in the water like there was last year.
