Arrived at Rock a little after 8am and launched the boat. We decided to start fishing on the south end of the lake. Picked up 2 bows on the 2.44" perch OG1. We were trolling around 2.7mph with 20 feet on the downrigger cable.

Decided to move to the north end of the lake. The stream that feeds Rock on that end was still a little off color. And, there's a bit of debris where it enters that lake.

Rather than troll through that debris field, we decided to troll along the west shoreline, moving south from the north end. Maintained a depth of 20 feet; but, slowed our trolling speed down to 2mph. And, on one rod we replaced the perch OG1 with a 1.8" OG1 in fluoro-blue/fluoro-pink. This turned into the hot rod and caught the majority of our two limits.

These limits were primarily made up of the 12" stocked rainbow. But, we did take one very nice larger rainbow as well as a healthy kokanee.

These fish are brining today. Headed for the smoker tomorrow!
