We headed out from Elliot Bay and tried to head up to Shilshole but when we got there the winds were very strong and the waves were a solid 3 to 4 feet, so we quickly decided to turn around and headed back to Meadow Point and started fishing there. I started out with a herring aid flasher and an army truck colored high fly on one rod and on the other I put on a green/silver/moonjelly flasher with a green and black spoon. We hooked into a shaker straight away, which was safely released. Then I put the gear back down to 65 feet and straight away we hooked up into a big coho! after a few minutes of fighting it was at the side of the boat and in the net. It was caught on the green and black 3 inch spoon. we trolled around for a little longer and had another hook up on the same lure, but it popped off. we only had an hour and a bit to fish so we headed in with a nice 8 pound coho.
