Trailered the Hewescraft from Moscow, Idaho to Sekiu, Washington on Monday, August 17. Put the boat in the water Monday night and headed out for a short trip. Caught a single coho in the 2 to 3 pound range. (We ran several OG2s in various colors/sizes. Believe that lone fish came on a fluoro-green/fluoro-orange.)

The next morning, we hit the water again. Heard that fish were moving in 400 to 600 feet of water. And, initially, we were told that they were holding around 125 feet. We set our downrigger cables to this depth and trolled north/south from 600 feet to 400 feet. For the bulk of Tuesday, we tested a variety of sizes and colors of the OG2. The two most productive colors were the fluoro-green/chartreuse and the fluoro-green/fluoro-orange. Both in the smaller 2.8" size.

Released a number of unclipped fish. By day's end, we had two hatchery fish in the boat. But, we'd observed that the fluoro-green/chartreuse OG2 in 2.8" was outfishing everything else.

On Wednesday morning, when we headed out, both rods were rigged with the 2.8" OG2 in fluoro-green/chartreuse. In front was a Big Al's Fish Flash.

We caught our limits of hatchery fish before noon on Wednesday. And, released a number of unclipped. Below is a short video that captures the highlights:
