Set out from Shilshole at 7AM (took one of the remaining 5 spots in the parking lot... popular morning) on the dot and had lines in the water up in the Richmond Beach Park area by 7:20AM. Fished two rods, one with a "purple haze" flasher paired with an ace hi fly and herring strip, second one with a "no bananas" flasher and a cop car coho killer. Spent around 2 hours making passes by the oil docks up to close to the area 9 border at Edmonds, then swinging back down to the Boeing Creek area (South of oil docks) and repeating. Picked up one fish at 9AM on the dot on the rod with the cop car coho killer, decent resident coho around 22 or 23 inches and fairly fat. We kept fishing the area until around 10:30, then trolled all the way back to Shilshole and were back at the around 11:50 with our one fish. Lots of people out, didn't see anyone else net a fish.
When I backed the trailer into the water at Shilshole... one of my bunks floated off, having rusted completely through the brackets. Made loading and driving home interesting to say the least. Seems like the "fix it" list never ends with boat ownership.

Bummer on that lost trailer bunk.

I have this constant paranoid sense, that I will be in the water, and something will happen to my trailer, like vandalism, or stolen! And then I am screwed.... it’s like who ya gonna call that just has an extra trailer that fits your boat?
