The Quadfather
6/23/2020 7:58:45 PMIt’s nice that you are detailed about the depths that you are pulling fish from.
That helps a lot when people get out there, with kinda where to start, etc.

Started off in the Canals. Looks like too late because I didnt see any sign of life going. Got to the first intersection and left the area.
I primarily stuck to the east side of the lake, hitting some deep drops, some shallow flats, and some isolated weed clumps. I could see something moving in the water in about 2' but couldnt quite tell what it was, so pitched a dropshot there. Felt the tick an pull out maybe a 1.25# SMB. Saw it had a buddy chasing about the same size.
Found a couple more 1# size SMB in 4' or less water. Got a better fish in about 6'-7' in the shadow side of a large boat. Was maybe 1.5# at best.
Spotted a really nice LMB in about 4' of water.
I had on nice SMB. Was hooked in a shadow side of a tree/dock. Estimating about 7-8' of water. It came up to the surface twice and dug down twice. Got caught on some weeds, then it just came unbutton. Guessing a mid to high 2# fish.
Had something pop up and smack my jerkbait but missed. All fish today were caught on a dropshot only.
I tried a jerkbait, football/craw, swimbait and a crankbait.
There sure at a lot of eagles out there. I saw maybe a dozen perched on a couple trees.
