7/26/2021 12:41:37 AMI've crabbed all my life but never shrimped. Any pointers would be appreciated. Can crab pots be used as shrimp pots if lined with smaller plastic mesh? I'm not too far from Kayak Point.

7/27/2021 1:17:54 PMI doubt you'd be able to create a legal pot that actually catches shrimp, but possible. Need to have the legal mesh requirements and a way for the shrimp to get in but not an easy out. Check out John's sporting goods video on shrimp set up. Spot shrimp is done for the year, except this weekend in Area 7, but think about next year--If I'm not using all mine I'm happy to loan them out. Just PM me.
