With water temps climbing into the 60's it was time to start hitting the post-spawn Walleye bite at Banks Lake. The lake was very busy with 20+ boat fishing around Steamboat. I started off trolling in 15-20' of water with the rest of the fleet but found no takers. I decided to bump our deeper in 30' of water and immediately picked up a fish. Once I found them it only took a couple hours to limit out. Fish were caught on bottom walkers with Mack's or homemade crawler harnesses or slow death hooks. Chartreuse was the favored color with troll speeds of 0.8 mph producing best.

Did you try any jigging for them? Would you say it was busier than normal this time of year there? Did you camp at Steamboat?
Thanks for the report.

No I did not try jigging for them. I saw a few boats doing so but none pulled a fish over the rails. The lake was extremely busy. Busier than I've ever seen. 20+ boats alone where I was trolling. I didn't camp because I live nearby.
