First time posting so go easy on me. Tried getting out early. With gear down at sunrise, I thought there would be less people out especially with the all day rain forecast. Probably over half a dozen boats already out.

Fished around the same time last year at around 15ft and that’s where the first line went. Also with the two pole endorsement and wife I could have three poles out. The other was flat lined about 100ft back. While getting the other rod set, the delightful *tap tap tap* starts happening on the downrigger. In the boat goes the first fish. Came in on a gold arrow flash dodger and a 50/50 silver blue God’s Tooth Spoon rigged Kokanee style tipped with corn soaked in tuna juice.

Reading the reports I knew finding would be tough and it was. I left the first set up on all morning and it was the only thing getting bit. On the other side I tried jensen or double D (can’t remember the brand) watermelon dodger with a chartreuse wedding ring, blue glow hoochie, pink micro wedding, white glow micro wedding ring, pink hoochie. Then switched to a 50/50 Nickel and brass dodger. Still nothing on that side.

Probably had one or two bites every hour or so. Got bites from 15ft - 27ft. Went deeper as the day went on. Speed varied from 1.0 - 1.8 mph depending on the wind. Tried to keep it to 1.4 mph. Ended up with three in the box. Lost a few more. Called it a morning at 10:30. The action did not make the rainy cold weather worth testing my skill or luck.

Great lures for sure. I'm itching to use them for resident silvers when MA10 opens.
