Another tough day in paradise. We launched out of 7 Bays just after 8 AM after an interesting drive thru the slush and fog from the Spokane Valley. The conditions on the water were way better that conditions on the road. Motored down past A rock and started putting lines out. Started getting some hits right away. The second fish to the boat was a nice Kokanee and we thought we were really going to roll and we did but only Rainbow from there on out. We had our RB limits around 3 and returned 4 wild fish and missed several. It's odd how they can hit so hard and not stick. We really had a fun day on the water, very little wind and the heater was working nicely in the boat. It's hard to beat a day of good fishing with good friends.
Stay after them everyone, it's the right thing to do and have a Great Christmas Season.

Good job Mark!! I'll never understand the mystery behind a vicious takedown that doesn't stick and it's not because the hooks we use aren't sharp. Glad to hear you had a nice day in paradise, absolutely love winter fishing at Roosevelt. :-)

I enjoy all the seasons but a nice winter day of fishing is one of the best. Hope to get back down there soon.

Any day on the water is still better than a day at work!

I still wonder if they don't hit the bait from the side on the head. It's unimaginable they don't get stuck. Hooks are always trying to stick me while tieing them on!
