Point Defiance Dock 12-8-19.
The forecast was for only 10% chance of rain and temp close to 50. The tides were low at 8:00 AM 5.9 feet with high at 1:47 PM at 11.6 feet. My plan was to fish the incoming tide 11:30-4. It was slow. My son got there close to 9 and got one first cast then nothing. Around 11 he decided to go to Dash Point. I told him to let me know how it was. He watched the crowd and saw 4 brought up. He came back to Point Defiance and met up with me and my grandson (his nephew). Then my daughter came with her son. Besides us there were only 2 others for a while. One guy had the touch and caught quite a few. As more people started showing up around the tide change more squid were caught. Daughter caught her first. Her son (other grandson) didn’t get any. Son only ended up with 3. Grandson who came with me got a double for his first squids. I got 4.
