Hooked one 18" coho jack hen this morning around 0745 floating some eggs. Had a couple more missed strikes but overall was much slower fishing than this past Tues. The nets in the lower river sure do put a damper on things.

Lost my entire float rod setup to a snag, lost a few twitchin jigs and decided to head upriver to see if I could locate the fish I saw on Tuesday. Went up to the hatchery and saw over 30 rigs parked there...Proceeded along the river road and tried next to the Auburn golf course in some faster water (more like steelhead water). Drifted a few jigs and spoons for about an hour and then called it a day.

Looking forward to better fishing the next few days while the net are out.

Hello. Thanks for posting. I am having the hardest time even getting a bite lately. I wonder if it's in part because the nets you mentioned. Do you have any information on the nets by change? Thank you.

Yeah it's been a little tough...at least for some. Here's how to find out about the nets: Muckleshoot tribal netting hotline is 1-800-347-4669. Nets are pulled out of the river from noon Friday until 8AM Sunday. Seems like some of the better fishing for me has been the early part of each week. Try getting out then if you can. Good luck!
