Late start for the day. First cast wasnt until about 10:30AM.
Have 5 rods setup.
Jerkbait, crankbait, dropshot, wacky, and swimbait.
Started with the jerk and wacky in shallow waters. All I found were perch, rockbass and fingerlings with it. Moving out deeper with crank, swimbait, and dropshot.
Found some fish in 20' of water. Perfect since got a new dropshot rod and wanted to put it to the test.
When I first got onto the water, there was a decent breeze across the lake. As the morning continued, the wind slowed down make it very pleasant out on the water. Not a lot of people out there either.
Landed about 10 bass, 1 rock bass, and numerous perch. Only hookups were on the jerk and dropshot. Had 2 bumps on the cranks but no hookups. None of the bass were picture worthy. I think only 2 or maybe 3 were in the 2# range. The rest were 1# or so. All bass caught in 18'-35'. Majority in the 20ish range. Nothing big but action was consistent.
