We recently took our annual family fishing trip to Sheridan lake BC in mid-August. We arrived at Sheridan Lake Resort on the 15th and stayed until the 21st. I want to thank owners Tammi and Titus for they're hospitality during our stay! They have made many improvements to the resort in the short time they have been the owners.
Unlike last year the weather was a little uncooperative, we battled wind nearly every day we were there and didn't get to spend as much time on the water as we wanted to. When we could fish I wouldn't call the fishing hot but it was consistent, if you put your time in you would catch fish. The quality of the fish in this area is amazing and it's the reason we keep going back.
The hot lures for this trip were Fishinator plugs, trolled at 40' depth at 1.4 mph.The Sheridan Lake Special and the Hulk were equally effective. We happened to meet the gentleman who makes these wooden, hand painted lures at the resort, they're a great product. We have already booked our trip for next year!

My parents built a cabin on Sheridan Lake in 1964. It was under rehabilitation then, but when it re-opened to fishing a couple of years later the fishing was great. In those days we trolled flatfish behind a Ford Fender or some other form of pop gear and it worked quite well. Seeing your pictures brings back some wonderful memories of time on the water with my dad and our Dachshund , Henrich, who was always the first one in the boat.
