After all the great reports decided to give Loon lake Kokes a try. Hit the lake about 8:30 pm (along with about thirty other boats) Nice evening after the breeze died down. Anchored in 32 feet water in front of the green palm tree lights on the east shore (again with about thirty other boats). Got my first bite in a few minutes. Only got one other. Brother got a couple. No hookups. Fished till after 11 pm and never saw a fish caught in any boat (well there was one little sunfish caught in the boat next to me). Marked fish in many areas at 32 feet but found no biters. If the fish bit they did it after I left. Talked to fishermen in front of the boat house at Granite point and across the lake in the cove by the island. Nobody was catching fish. The old "you should have been here last weekend" deal I guess.
