It was good to get out on the water with my usual buddies as CF has been a no show for a while, being a bit under the weather. Launched at Northrop Canyon and had lines in the water by 6:45. We fished bottom walkers with spinners/slow death rigs targeting 20-24 FOW. Weeds generally stopped in 22 FOW. Color did not seem to matter. We ended up with a dozen eyes. Largest was a beauty at 25”(released) with most 17-19”. Water temperature was 69*.

We ended our day towing a ski boat and family to the launch after they went dead in the water. I have always appreciated the help from strangers when I was the one having the issues.

Atta Boy Doc! Good on you for helping out. It makes the report twice as good. Thanks. Andy

Thanks for the good report and pictures. I need to put more effort into Banks Lake. Haven't really tried it for Walleye and my Whitefish and Burbot results have not been encouraging. Would love to catch a Walleye that I had to release because it was large rather than small.
