I think it has been about 2 years since I fished Lake Tye so thought I would head out there. Met some nice folks at the boat launch then launched the raft and headed out. Started trolling Elgin Fishing God's Tooth spoons mostly set on fast action. Used a variety of spoons today just for fun. Almost all the patterns I used caught fish. God blessed with 17 fish all released to fight another day. Lost nearly a dozen more as the fish would strike then jump out of the water numerous times spitting the hook. Very enjoyable to experience the fish out there striking the spoons so hard!!!
I flatlined the spoons as the fish were in the top 5' of the water column. Good to see quite a number of bank anglers trying to catch these feisty rainbows. The video below shows some of the action for the day. Wishing all tight lines!
