3/18/2019 5:42:46 PMI found the brown mucky algae clumps were mostly where I'd call just inside the east channel. I believe the wind concentrated the floating gunk in that area as it funneled around the island. The open water between South Point and the southern shoreline was fairly clean. There was some debris in the water, but not too bad to manage. I tried to stay in 100+ feet of water and kept quite a bit off shore. I was planning to fish closer to the mouth of the Cedar, but the float planes were really working over the area so I decided to leave it to them.
