2/22/2019 11:59:10 AMYour God's Tooth lures are among the favorites for me and my fishing partner at this time for Cutthroat on our local lakes. Thanks for the update on your new lure patterns. We will be looking for them once they are released. Incidentally and as suggested by you to me in one of my recent NWFR postings, my fishing partner and I fished the big lake, Lake Washington, for Cutthroat the other day in its north half in the Juanitta Bay area and had good results using your God's Tooth in the tandem configuration. The action that configuration puts into that lure was amazing. I was going to report on it here,, however, several days had passed, the report got old and I did not follow up.

I might add that was with the half/half gold and silver God's Tooth. As you say, the God's Tooth lure very definitely works well when targeting bigger fish the likes of what are available in the big lake.

I think the one in light green as shown within this NWFR posting would be a good candidate for that added feature.

2/22/2019 8:33:33 PMI highly recommend the flat eyes and use them on the narrow end of the perch, shiners, and have used them on the blue 50/50 with great success. Of course, you can put them over the existing eyes for a brighter presentation. The gold and silver shiners look great when placing the eyes over the existing ones. :-)

2/24/2019 11:21:00 PMHey ElginFishing, when you use god's tooth lures in tandem, how are you connecting them? Also, I assume the 2 hooks at the end per kokanee rigging? I was also curious about your egg pattern. I assume this is white/yellow color? Hey, what side of stevens were you at?

2/25/2019 9:55:44 AMFishingTenor: Thanks for the questions. Our website under "Tutorial " has photos of the tandem setups. Basically, remove hook and split ring from one of the spoons and attach that end to the other spoon's split ring to create a " jointed spoon." You want to choose a setup resulting in the trailing spoon really kicking. Try front spoon set on fast action and rear spoon on slow action. There is a YouTube video showing this in action.
Two hook setup is for kokanee and cutts mainly. The yellow trout is the yellow with spots. The egg is what the fish photo includes which is not black but nickel background. Fished on North side of lake going from East to West. My "How to rig" video shows how to rig the kokanee setup, spoon is set on slow action for that.
