7/21/2018 9:51:47 AMYou didnt say what time you were out there but its definitely an early morning bite. We have had our best luck in the shallower water 150-200. See a lot of people fishing out deeper but I havent had any luck out deeper. Fish are 50-85 early and drop down to the 100-125 level as the sun gets bright on the water. After about noon forget about it!

7/21/2018 6:23:03 PMWe didn't get on the water until about 11. We noticed a lot of boats when we got there. After one lap past the oil docks we checked our crab pots (also a bust!). We did another lap and noticed we were alone. That should have been a good indication.
If we get out earlier, would the oil docks or possession point be better? I am still new at salmon fishing and really want to get the best chance for my daughter to hook one.
