...moved over from Long lake to Horseshoe and fished this lake, once around the lake. What a contrast to Long lake! Crystal clear water (however, there is a warning sign regarding swimmers itch - so don't go swimming after fishing there!). The fish were a bit moe active than at Long. Had some nuibbles, lost a couple fish. Saw two huge 4-5 pound beauties swim along side the boat - they really were that big! I ended the day on my last cast with an aggressive 1 pound fish slamming my senko, coming off, and slamming it a second time near the boat - and coming off. It was that kind of day. But the fishing report rating does not reflect the company I was with.
