The skunk is off!! Finally!! After three straight skunk trips, my luck changed. Fishing the north end lately and it has proven to be a tough nut to crack.

Trolled the westside starting at Mcleer Ck for about 2 hours with no hookups, it was beginning to look like I might be four skunks in a row. Jumped over to Champaign Pt and still nothing. Boat was starting to smell real bad. Kept going into Juanita Bay area and bingo! finally fish on!!! Caught three more really nice fish in the next 45 minutes. All four fish in the 18"+/- range. Kept two and C&R two. Skunk OFF!!!

Fish were right at the Juanita Bay drop off in about 60 fow. Line back 125 ft with 25 ft on the cable, speed appx 1.8mph. Naked (no scent, no bait) Old Goat OG1 did the trick. 1.8" silver/black and 2.44 in pink/green/silver with both about 18 inches behind a small flasher.

Big sigh of relief.
