4/30/2018 9:30:29 AMI concur. I have never seen/heard of a smallie caught in there after fishing it since I was a child. But I have heard of some being caught in fan and that's connected by the creek that flows into Eloika.

4/30/2018 5:35:35 PMMaybe I am mistaken. In comparing the fish to current WA regs booklet, it does bear more of a resemblance to large mouth. When I asked my neighbor, who has fished a lot more than me, he said they were small mouth.

4/30/2018 5:18:50 PMMy wife and I were tossing 3" plastics 2 years ago catching crappie when she nailed a 2# smallmouth. It really surprised me as I didn't know there were any in Eloika, I just figured it was one that someone"planted" on their own. It went back into the water so it doesn't surprise me that folks are catching them now.
