I moor my boat in dry storage at Edmonds Marina. This has been a decent season. I've had my boat out 11 times with 29 hatchery fish and 9 high fins in the net mostly with 2 rods. I would've been out more but I had motor trouble, my Seahawk was in the hospital for 10 days right in the middle of Sept. Its slowed down a lot from Sept. Today was a good example. Dropped gear at daylight, had a good bite, netted 2 hatchery and 2 high fins, and lost 2 more. But the fishing died at 9AM, zero after that. One plus the fish are bigger, the two today were 8 and 9 pounds instead of 4 to 6. Last week, Friday we got one, Wed zero and Tuesday 3.

We did get a bonus, there was a pod of 5 or 6 Killer Whales way out in mid channel. We knew something was going on when the whale watching boat came out. The Pod was just north of the MA 10 boundary, didn't get closer to us than 1/2 mile. They were never close enuff to get a pic.
