Got out on Cda again this weekend with the wife. The pike fishing has been producing a few fish but not big numbers. I only caught 3 pike on Saturday but they were nice fish. They weighed in at 26" - 5 pounds, 30 1/2"- 8 poundes, and the best fish of the day was a 33"- 10 pounder. Two fish came on spinner baits and the eight pounder drilled a 6" big hammer swim bait. Water temps are coming down now. I fished most of the day in temps below 10 degrees, but around 2 oclock they made it up to 71. Fish were on outer weed lines in about 8-10 feet of water. I've been trying out a little deeper with no luck. Everything seems to be in the 8-10 foot range for me. Cooler overnight lows should get the temps down and get the bigger fish feeding for winter, but with daytime temps in the 90's this week, I don't expect them to drop much.
