This lake missed a 5 rating by not giving up a fish over 3 lbs this trip. Everything under was very willing and I caught bass on just about whatever I threw. Bass Pro Shops Humpin' Toads were 'my go' to but they hit spinnerbaits, swim jigs, chatterbaits, Rage Craw's, jigs, Senkos and Rapalas. I didn't count or weigh anything but the average size was probably a pound and three quarters and the number would have been north of 20 bass and one knuckle-headed trout that ate a wacky rigged Senko in two feet of water.

The wind and weeds had me depleted enough by noon that I decided to head for lunch and maybe hit another lake on the way home to finish off my batteries?

Personally i appreciate every report from you b8. I like to know conditions and what they are hitting so i can try to apply it on my waters if needed. The folks who get butt hurt are tho folks who juat wanna steal your spots. Nobody wants to do the work themselves!

I've been Bass Fishing for 50 plus years, lots of casting practice, and sometimes getting a fish. No way I'm going to tell everything I know, or use to know. lol

I don't care if the lake's name is given, I just like reading the reports. I don't care if a fish picture is included, I just like reading the reports. I don't even care if the brand name of a lure is given, I just like reading in the report on how it's used. :-) Keep it up.
