Fished up at the Edmonds oil docks around 7 AM Sunday. Fair amount of boats. Launched at Golden Gardens and lots of trailers on the curb. A bit of a walk. Lots of bait in the water and we had four or five keepers on . could not get then to the boat. Lost one rolling right at the boat and then another bad boy was on and the local sea lion took a dim view on my catching that fish and it was then , sea lion on. Got my flasher back, but that was all. Saw six or so chinook boated and also noticed lots of little shakers being hooked and some being kept. Dudes, and dudettes, the size is 22 inches. So, If everyone reported their shaker and bycatch, gonna be a short quota window. :">)

Talked to the Seattle Parks Woman who was writing out warnings for not paying at the launch. She stated that lots of folks not paying. Oh well, next weekend expect to see some ticketing.

Might the small fish be coho? I've been hearing reports of people picking up a fair amount of resident coho.
