Second time on lake sammamish and had my limit in a little over an hour. Was set at 30 ft on the downrigger using a green dodger and red/green double whammy with night crawler. spot was the buoy about a mile north of launch.

Most were 12-14" with one at 17.5". All were healthy releases.

Spent the next three hours trying to find perch or crappie... No luck. Anyone have tips on then would love it.

No idea on crappie as they move around a lot. Perch are ubiquitous. Look anywhere there is a weedline in about 10 to 20 feet. On the East shoreline North of the point where you have the hot spot, you should fine many places for them. Small jigs such as 1/32 ounce trout magnet in natural brown color or just a piece of worm should get you plenty of action. If you see a school of fish in 20 feet near the bottom, probably are perch.

I've heard of some great crappie fishing in the sunken Forrest and right there by the launch... I fish them a bit later in the year and usually just find them mixed in with perch
