The concrete ramp is fixed!
I launched off the gravel side though to work the shallows. Pretty windy when I put in but instantly got a 4.4. Released that fish and rigged up the GoPro on the YoloTek but forgot to power up so the battery died before I was done fishing. After getting rolling I worked through the shallow cove without another bite until I got over by the two big logs. Log number one produced a 5.8! I didn't get another bite here so I pulled up and motored over to the SE corner to get out of the wind a bit.
Once here I saw a fish, looked bedded. I moved along at a decent clip casting the shoreline targeting the bass up under the mat and the thicker dollar pads. One spooked to my right and when I turned to look I got slammed! Lost that fish but a good sign. Got in around the beaver dam and started flipping the grass clumps with a Zoom lizard, this produced one fish and I actually got to see the strike so that was cool!
Continued along the shore and then around the lone dock. Casting the west side of the dock I hooked one as it swam under the dock with my jig, problem was I was wrapped up over part of the dock and on my in to un-hang the fish it spit me. I continued west along the shore but didn't get bit again until about halfway to the park, she went 5.2 and I took a picture with her carnage in the background as she was a pad snapping fight! Motored down the east side to fish the docks, then across to the two plastic docks. I boated two in this area, a 4 and a 3.3. Looked like nasty stuff moving in so I opted to call it.
